This Special Issue looks to highlight advances in polymer materials with an emphasis on the synthetic methods and work involved. We welcome contributions from in the field spanning a range of subtopics, for example, work on monomer and polymer synthesis, biopolymers, recyclable and smart and sustainable polymers, polymerization catalysts, and functionalization methods.

Heterocyclic compounds play a crucial role in various biological, medicinal, and industrial applications today. They are diverse and multifaceted in their use and as such, we wish to highlight advances in the field of synthetic heterocyclic chemistry. Topics in this special collection will include natural product synthesis, catalysis, coordination chemistry, materials science and biochemistry.
