Celebrating 50 Years of Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis - Part IV

本期是我们为庆祝Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis (STH)创刊50周年而出版的系列特刊中的第四期。STH于1974年首次出版，作为血栓和止血领域的重要期刊，2024年迎来了创刊50周年。
本刊由Eberhard F. Mammen创办，起初规模较小，第一年仅出版两期，印刷页数约为210页。经过多年的发展，现在每年出版8期，印刷页数约900页，并在2020年达到了印刷页数略高于1000页的里程碑。2021年和2022年的印刷页数略低于1000页，每年都是994页。2023年的印刷页数恢复到更正常的出版指标，为866页。然而，鉴于目前在第三期结束时的印刷页数已超过500页，2024年的印刷页数很可能会超过1000 页。根据 PubMed 的统计，每年发表的文章数量似乎也在增加，不过，在这一统计中需要承认早期在线（eFirst）发表的稿件的贡献。因此，每年在印刷版上发表的文章数量其实差不多，但越来越多的出版物提前在网上发布。
与本系列的前三期一样，当前期包含一系列与血栓形成和止血的广泛概念相关的材料，并具有历史联系。本期特刊也是该庆祝系列的最后一期，欢迎阅读。
