The close relationship between the circumflex coronary artery and the mitral valve anulus is much dreaded. This elaborate and beautifully illustrated anatomical study points out the danger zones.
Turhan and colleagues report their follow-up of 137 patients treated surgically for palmar and axillary hyperhidrosis with a mean observation time of 81 months. Success was highest in the palmar variant. 9.5% regretted the operation because of compensatory sweating elsewhere.
